How Greenline Realty collects, uses, stores and protects personal information — and the rights you have over yours.
This policy is issued by Greenline Realty Pty Ltd (ABN 49 662 417 192) ("Greenline Realty", "we", "us"). We are an independently owned property business providing property sourcing and strategy services, specialising in investment-grade house-and-land packages.
Greenline Realty is a separate company from Greenline Home Loans and Greenline Legal. We participate in a referral network of independent businesses, described in section 6.
We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

Enquiry and client information. When you contact us, book a strategy call, or engage our services: your name, phone number, email address, and the contents of your message or enquiry. If you become a client, we also collect the information needed to deliver our property services — which may include your investment goals, budget and borrowing position, property preferences, and transaction details.
Referral partner information. When a mortgage broker, accountant or other professional enquires about or joins our partner program: name, business or firm name, professional role, state, aggregator or professional body, enquiry volume, and contact details.
Referred client information. When a referral partner introduces a client to us with that client's knowledge, we receive the client's contact details and relevant context from the partner.
Publicly available professional information. For partnership outreach, we may collect business contact details of licensed brokers and registered tax practitioners from public registers (including ASIC's professional registers and the Tax Practitioners Board register) and from conspicuously published business sources such as firm websites and professional profiles.
Technical and usage information. When you use our website: device and browser information, pages visited, approximate location, referral source, and campaign parameters (UTM tags), collected via cookies and similar technologies through Google Analytics. Where you arrive via one of our campaigns, campaign attribution is recorded with any form you submit.
What we don't collect. We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health, racial or ethnic origin, or political opinions), and we ask that you don't include it in messages to us. We do not collect government identifiers such as tax file numbers. We are not a credit provider and do not collect credit information — any lending enquiries are handled by your chosen broker or lender under their own privacy policy.
Directly from you (website forms, phone, email, meetings); from referral partners who introduce you with your knowledge; from public professional registers and published business sources (partners only); and automatically through our website analytics as described in section 8.
Where practicable, we collect personal information directly from you. If we receive your information from a referral partner, we take reasonable steps to ensure you know we have it — typically through a three-way introduction at the start of the engagement.
We collect, hold and use personal information to: respond to your enquiries and provide our property sourcing and strategy services; coordinate a client's transaction with the other parties involved (see section 6); establish and manage referral partnerships, including the partner protections we commit to; send service communications about your engagement; send marketing communications where permitted, with an unsubscribe in every message (section 9); operate, measure and improve our website and campaigns; comply with our legal obligations; and any other purpose we tell you about at the time of collection.
Our website forms collect only the fields shown on the form, plus campaign attribution (the page submitted from and any UTM parameters). Form submissions are processed and stored by our website host, Netlify (see sections 7 and 10). Information you submit through a form is used to respond to your enquiry and for the purposes in section 4 — we do not add you to marketing lists from a contact form without telling you.
Greenline Realty is independently owned. We are part of a referral network of separate businesses, including Greenline Home Loans (mortgage broking) and Greenline Legal (legal services), and other professional partners.
Fees: we may pay a fee to a partner who refers a client to us, and receive a fee from a partner we refer a client to. Any referral arrangement relevant to you is disclosed to you before you proceed.
What we share: where you engage us for a property transaction, we share the personal information reasonably necessary with the parties needed to complete it — which may include builders, developers and their agents, your conveyancer or legal representative, your mortgage broker or lender, and your accountant or adviser. We share with our own referral partners only where you don't already have a provider for that service and you ask us for, or agree to, an introduction.
Referred clients: where you were referred to us by a partner under our Partner Non-Compete Deed, our referral arrangements with other businesses are suspended for you in the services your referring partner provides — your other needs are referred back to your existing adviser, and your information is not passed to our other network partners for those services.
Service providers who support our business under appropriate protections: website hosting and form processing (Netlify), analytics (Google), email marketing and customer-relationship platforms, and professional advisers (legal, accounting, insurance). We also disclose personal information where required or authorised by law.
We do not sell personal information.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how our website is used — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, traffic source, and interactions such as form completions and phone-number clicks. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers. The measurement data is processed by Google and may be stored on servers outside Australia.
You can opt out by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser settings. Our website remains fully usable with cookies disabled.
We may send you marketing about our services and relevant property topics if you are a client, you have asked to receive it, or we are otherwise permitted to send it — always with a functioning unsubscribe, which we action promptly. Greenline Realty maintains its own marketing list, separate from any other business. We send commercial electronic messages in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), and every unsubscribe is actioned promptly.
For partnership outreach to brokers and accountants, we contact business addresses published for professional purposes, identify ourselves, and honour every opt-out.
Personal information is held in the systems described above, which include servers located overseas — principally in the United States (Netlify, Google). Our other providers may store information in Australia or overseas; we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure — including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and reputable providers. No internet transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We generally retain personal information for up to 5 years from our last interaction with you, or longer where the law requires records to be kept, and then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your personal information sooner at any time using the contact details in section 1, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it — in which case we will tell you.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading. Contact us using the details in section 1. We respond within a reasonable period (usually 30 days) and will not charge you for making a request. If we refuse access or correction, we'll tell you why in writing and how to complain.
If you believe we've mishandled your personal information, contact us first at info@greenlinerealty.com.au (attention: Privacy Officer). We'll acknowledge your complaint, investigate, and respond within a reasonable time.
